This "Town Hall" is one of 3 Christmas Whoville buildings created by Department 56 in 2001 based on those seen in the 2000 Live Action "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" Movie with Jim Carrey. It is hand painted ceramic and includes the Whoville Town Hall, the Grinch figure and a wonky sisal tree. It has the original cord and light which work perfectly. This piece is in Like-New condition..no chips, cracks, scratches, etc. It has only been out on display 3 times. The box and styrofoam packaging are in really great condinion too. Dept. 56 retired this piece in 2003. It has been stored in a climate controlled closet in my non-smoking home.
