This boat is in exceptional original condition. Everything works just as it did when it was new.
You really must see this boat in person to appreciate its beauty and condition.
Please don't let the age of this boat concern you. It has actually been used for only 15 years of its life and many of those years it was used sparingly. It does not have an hour meter, but I can honestly say the boat has very low hours on it.
I am the second owner who purchased this boat in 1986 from a friend and I have owned it for the last 39 years. It has been meticulously taken care of its entire life. I just took it out of 26 year storage and have completely gone through and reconditioned everything.
New parts include rebuilt carburetor, 3 year automotive starting battery, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, points, and condenser, USCG approved fuel tank to fuel pump hose, oil and filter, water pickup impeller, drive bellows, exhaust bellows, shift cable bellows, lower shift cable, trim tab zinc anode, stern unit gear lube, trim limit switch, side bunk boards, and bow winch strap. Over $1,100 in new parts alone plus labor.
Water tested 08/11/2025 at Sand Hollow State Park. The boat started, ran, and handled perfectly.
Includes over $1,600 retail value of gear including 10 lifejackets, skis and 4 ski ropes, 2 kneeboards, 2 rubber tow behind rafts, 2 paddles, anchor and new 50 ft rope, spare propellor and prop wrench, Hummingbird fish finder/depth finder, handheld spotlight, 2 boat fenders, trim cylinder trailering clips, flush muffs, original custom fitted mooring cover, factory convertible top, extra aftermarket boat cover, various maintenance tools and supplies including grease gun and 3 new grease tubes, and other misc. items.
Also includes original owner's manual, original Mercruiser Operation and Maintenance Manual, original Mercruiser MCM 1201R-140R Power Package Installation Manual, and Clymer Stern Drive Shop Manual 1964-1985.
This boat is very easy to tow (boat weighs 2,125 lbs.), it runs 40 miles per hour, and it is just a great boat overall for family use, pleasure riding, skiing and even fishing. I have pulled skiers all weekend on one tank of gas. If you want a larger wake for wakeboarding, just trim the outdrive up a few degrees and you will have plenty of wake.
This boat was seen by two local boat dealers and both were in awe at the condition of it. Both dealers indicated this boat was worth at least the listed sale price if not more. It is in turn key condition that needs NOTHING and is literally water ready.
This boat has only been in fresh water only. Never in salt water.
